Leave No Trace is a program that helps us remember how to protect the outdoor spaces we like to visit: parks, rivers, lakes, mountains, beaches, camping areas, and even our own backyard! It introduces the idea of making responsible decisions when participating in outdoor activities, including staying safe and reducing environmental impact.

Leave No Trace workshops can be designed for any age group, including adults, and can be anywhere from one to four hours in length. For children, the PEAK curriculum is utilized and includes hands-on activities and games to introduce youth to Leave No Trace in a fun and engaging way. Participants will earn a Leave No Trace certificate for completing the program.

Workshops are typically scheduled in the Spring or Fall. To hold the program, a minimum of 50 girls is required for a cost of just $3 per girl.  Make this a service unit event, or invite other troops/service units to join you!

After a date has been scheduled, troop leaders should fill out the Activity Registration Form and mail along with the registration fee. After registration materials are received, the workshop will be confirmed.
